PTM // Check out the New Features…
Just wanted to remind everyone about a few new features that can be used on PauseTheMoment.com. And since I know that you’ll be visiting often, you might find these features to be very useful!
New Features:
SUBSCRIBE: If you would like to have an email sent to you each time PTM is updated, please scroll down on the Main Page and on the right hand side you will see section called “Stay Informed. Enter your email address in the text box, then click “Subscribe”. Once you do that, you will be taken to a confirmation page, and then you’ll be sent a confirmation email in which you will need to open and click on the link inside. Once you’re finished, you will now be updated via email each and every time PauseTheMoment.com is updated! Sweet!
COMMENTS: There’s a comment feature available on PTM that allows you to comment on any photo or post on PauseTheMoment.com. This feature really lets me know that people are actually reading my blogs, checking out my photos, and maybe even learning a thing or two by visiting my site. All you need to do to leave a comment is click on the Title of any post OR click on the Continue Story link at the end of the post. This will bring you into the actual post itself. Once there, scroll down to the end of the post and you’ll see a box that says “Leave A Comment”. Enter your information (Name, Email Address, and the sarcastic comment of your choice), then click Submit!
All comments will be Approved/Rejected and overseen by myself, due to random people leaving comments about deals on Viagra, Cialis, and all sorts of Genital Enlargement junk. If you use any of the “uppers” listed above and you’re offended please Contact Me and tell me how you really feel. Once your comment goes through my 18 Step Approval Process (just kidding) it will then be engraved into my post/blog and it will make both you and I very happy campers!
SEARCH: Currently there are two ways to search for what you’re looking for on PauseTheMoment.com. The first way to browse all content is to View Posts By Category. To do this, you should navigate to the Main Page and on your right hand side you will see a section called “Categories”, by using the drop-down menu you will be able to view all Posts by Category ie. “Germany”, or even “Travel Tips”. All posts will be tagged with the appropriate Category and some posts might share more than one category. Makes sense right?
The second way to browse all content on PTM is to scroll down under the Category section and you’ll see the “Archives” section. Here you’ll find every post that I’ve written categorized by Month ie. Febrary 2008.
CONTINUE STORY: I’m sure you’ve seen this “Continue Story” link at the end of posts on the main page. When you see that link, it means that the post that you are currently reading on the main page is a sneak preview. It is NOT the full post. To see the full post you will need to either click on the Title of the Post, or click on the Continue Story link. The reason that is in place is because some posts are just too long to post on the main page of Pause The Moment. With the Continue Story link in place it now allows me to write longer posts and I can give you a small preview of the post on the main page.
QUOTES: Don’t forget to check out the “Quotes” section a little ways down on the right hand side. It’s filled with tons of great travel quotes from many different authors. Don’t be afraid to use one for yourself!
