PTM // An Afternoon in Dublin…

May 1st, 2008 by Ryan

My aunt and I woke up early and headed in to meet her mother in town. It was a beautiful day here today, although the morning was a little chilly at first. After noon the sun came out and it got drastically warmer. We stopped in a cafe and had a tea and a sandwich as we overlooked Grafton Street.

On a sunny day like today hanging around Grafton street is great. The shops are packed and you almost want to ask yourself, does every one have the day off today? I spotted a celebrity today on Grafton street actually! A very famous Dublin born actor named David Kelly walked right by me. You would know him as “Grandpa Joe” in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. He was Charlie’s Grandfather. It was pretty cool to see him walk right by.

Tomorrow I’ll be focusing on packing my little carry on bag for my trip to Alicante, Spain on Saturday. The restrictions on RyanAir are crazy! They are really strict about carry on bag measurements, and weight so I’ll have to be very careful while packing my bag. If you go over by an ounce they charge you an arm and a leg!

Other than that, that’s really about it. No more news!

Til’ next time…
