Don't think that because I didn't drink every night that Contik isn't "fun" or that it isn't a great experience. Everyone on the bus can make their own decisions through out the trip and if you wanted to drink every single night and miss everything that the trip is really about (traveling, seeing new places, experiencing new things) then you could definitely do that. Nobody will take a bottle away from you. Don't worry! If you should be turned off about anything to do with Contiki, it should be about some of the hotel conditions, food, and the full day bus rides. Those are the issues that bothered most people more than not being able to drink every night, believe me. If I have turned you off due to the fact that you read my blog and didn't see that I was out drinking all of the time, then it's time to grow up my man! Maybe you'll understand better once you drop 5 or $6,000 on a trip to wake up hungover every morning. Is it really worth it?
