Yeah, Red Rock is a great place to hike. I just visited Valley of Fire State Park while I was in Vegas last week… post and photos coming soon!

We loved Red Rock too! For a different type of experience, and not too far from vegas either- is Mt. Charleston. We went over New Years and the snow was awesome, the views were beautiful and we got to do some hiking too. Where are you going first on your next trip? We are leaving for our RTW trip at the end of May and starting in Sydney (we live in L.A.). Hope the planning is going great- and if we are out together we should meet up! Red Rock was one of my favorite places when I lived in Vegas. We climbed several places out there!!
