You Think Traffic is Bad in Your City?

Hanoi, Vietnam — The one thing you’ll notice about Hanoi at first glance is the TRAFFIC! I’ve visited quite a few countries and cities that are specifically known for their wacky drivers and crazy traffic but nothing compares to the mayhem that goes on here in Hanoi.
If this is your first time experiencing such chaos, don’t be surprised if you spend most of your vacation trying to find that “safe” time to cross the road. Once you get settled in, you’ll quickly realize that there’s a science to it. Before you know it you’ll be cautiously crossing the street in half the amount of time you did when you first arrived.

OMG I couldnt stop laughing. Its crazy how NO ONE stops for anything, it flows like water. After watching it I think this method of crossing an intersection may be faster than using lights. I cann't wait to experience that. I say one of you stay atop while they record the other crossing the street, just for jokes…lol!!!

I risk my life everyday to cross the streets! But it's fun! And I love it:)
I love this.. if we did traffic in Boston this way we would probably have less traffic and tie-ups. Notice even with all the craziness everything is moving.
You know what, you're probably right! The only difference at home though is that there would be more road rage incidents than there already is! LOL. Imagine if people were cutting each other off all day? Somehow it works here…
So I’m curious, you said there’s a science to crossing the street. I watched the video and couldn’t for the life of me see how there’s any logic. So what’s the trick to it?
Yeah, there is a science but it's really all about practice! It's like trial and error but hopefully without the "error" part! Haha. If you're walking confidently they will go around you, if you're hesitant in any way, you'll NEVER get across. One step at a time!
