Behind the Photo: Laos School Children



Laos School Children

We were on our way to explore a cave in Vang Vieng, Laos when we stumbled upon a small group of children on their way home from school. They seemed to be intrigued by us walking through their village and they were eager to see our cameras up close. We  pointed to our camera and then pointed towards them in hopes that they would understand that we would like to take their photo. They excitedly bobbed their heads up and down in a “yes!” fashion although the little guy on the left still looks a little skeptical of the whole idea…

  1. Oh wow I love this shot. I see school children all the time in Central America in uniform and love it. I always wanna ask for a photo but feel bad. I am going ot have to man up and ask next time. They make awesome pictures!
