Double Under Domination Workout

Ladies and gentlemen, I just want to start out by saying that this double under workout is BRUTAL!

This workout isn’t tough because of the strength exercises shown above, it’s more about all of those god damn double unders!

250 of them to be exact!

But wait, don’t let the 250 double unders deter you. Seriously. Give this a shot!

INTRODUCTION TO DOUBLE UNDERS

For those of you who are new to double unders, you’ll want to make sure you’ve got your single jump rope skills down pat first. If you can’t do double unders just yet, no worries! Check out the notes at the bottom of this workout and you’ll see the single jump rope rep replacement that I’ve got for you.

Once you’ve got the single jump ropes down, you’ll want to check out this double under tutorial by Buddy Lee, former Olympian wrestler and the baddest jump roper on the planet (IMO). Watch the video from 0:32 seconds on and you’ll be amazed at what this guy can do.

  • 25 FRONT LUNGES (video)

  • 25 DOUBLE UNDERS
  • 25 STAR JUMPS (video)
  • 25 DOUBLE UNDERS
  • 25 BOX JUMPS (video)
  • 25 DOUBLE UNDERS
  • 25 TRICEP DIPS (video)
  • 25 DOUBLE UNDERS

NOTES:

If you have yet to master the double under, just replace the 25 double unders with 50-100 single jump ropes (depending on your level of fitness).

If you cannot do 25 double unders straight through, no worries! Just make sure you complete 25 double unders before moving on to the next exercise.

By the end of this workout, you will have completed 250 double unders and 25 reps of each strength exercise (Congrats!). One thing I can guarantee is that you will be dripping sweat from head to toe.
