Singita Lebombo

Singita Lebombo is one of the most exclusive lodges in all of Kruger National Park. Businessmen, businesswomen and celebrities from around the world visit Singita to stay and play in one of the 15  private suites available on the property.

The price of a night’s stay at Singita includes all-suite accommodation, three meals per day, all drinks, including premium wines, spirits and liqueurs (excluding champagnes) and open Land Rover safaris accompanied by experienced guides and trackers.

Main Lodge

While you wait to check in at Singita Lebombo, you’re met by the beautifully decorated, open-plan lounge area.

Sit back, relax and enjoy the take in the views of Kruger in the distance. Care for some light snacks and a freshly squeezed lemonade while you wait? Coming right up!

Pool:

The pool is located on the deck of the main lodge and is olympic size by length. No, it’s not your typical hotel pool by any means but when the lodge only accommodates a maximum of 30 people at a time, what more could you ask for?

Suites:

There are 15 private suites on hand at Singita Lebombo. Each suite has an indoor/outdoor shower, bath tub, mini fridge, safe, air-conditioning, overhead fans, telephones and game viewing balcony equipped with two chairs and a day bed.

Upon request, Singita will provide you with a mosquito net to drape over your day bed so that when night falls, you can sleep under the stars while listening to the wildlife below you in the bush.

In order to give you a behind the scenes look at the suites at Singita Lebombo, I shot an in-room video tour which you can check out below.

Amenities:

Pool, Fitness Center, Spa, Wine Cellar, Laundry, Valet, Shopping (Gallery & Boutique), Internet, Satellite TV (main lodge), Fax Facilities and more.

Note:  Wi-Fi internet is available to most suites depending on how far they are located from the main lodge. I stayed in the furthest room from the main lodge (Room #5) and I couldn’t pick up any wireless signal.

Conclusion:

My two night stay at Singita was simply out of this world. If it wasn’t for South Africa Tourism, I would not have been able to afford to stay and experience all that Singita Lebombo has to offer. I’m extremely grateful for having the opportunity to meet the top notch staff at Singita as well as to have the chance to spot the Big 5 in the Singita Game Reserve inside of Kruger National Park.

Although Singita is geared towards luxury travelers, there is something to be said about the value you receive during your stay. I’m not going to lie and say that the prices are affordable for most travelers because they are not. What I will say though is that the cost of your stay includes your room, all food and drinks (including premium wines, beer, etc), as well as two game drives per day with ranger/guide and tracker.

Sure, it’s expensive, but take a look at your surroundings, the impeccable service that you receive, the incredible game drives, and the luxurious suites that you can call your home for a few nights.

Is Singita out of reach? No, not if you start saving for a once in a lifetime trip to Kruger National Park!

If you’re into all-inclusive getaways and you’re looking for the best South African safari experience, then Singita is definitely the place for you.

    • Thanks Kelsey. Yeah, Singita is top notch, there might not be a better place to stay in all of Kruger. At least that’s what the celebrities say… ;-)
