Thanks a lot Sonya!
Who let you guys in on the secret that this week was photography week on the Top100… great shots, and they'll definitely gain you a boost in score!
Haha, what a coincidence!
I just had to comment on these photos… Me and my girlfriend Izzy are one month into our 6 month trip around SE Asia, Australia, New Zealand and Fiji. Both of us having been diving in and out of your blog for adivce and inspiration. We’re keeping blogs ourselves, but more for the benefit of our friends and families.
I’m really into photography (as is everyone who travels) and loved Chiang Mai, so clicked on your top 11 photos. We’re were so happy to see Mau Boon Thong who was our elephant when we visited Patara! Keep up the good work. Matt (mattcollett.blogspot.com) and Izzy (isabellastravels.tumblr.com)
These photos are amazing!! I was in Asia last spring, but I couldn’t get to Thailand because there was an uprising going on at the time. I ended up doing a month in the Philippines, a week in Cambodia and a week in Saigon city. Truly awesome and must go back. This time I want to take eight months off of work and do the big one. My bucket list includes Mexico, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Tahiti, Australia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Hawaii, and San Francisco, all in that order. I call it a bucket list because I am fifty three year old woman traveling alone and have to go on the big one before I kick it. I also want to learn to surf. Cool eh? You guys should get yourselves to the Philippines. I have been traveling for a good long time and these are the best beaches in the world. They have some exceptional camping trips as well. Second to none.
Thanks for sharing those photos. I wasn’t sure what part of Thailand to visit, but now for sure I will make my way to Chaing Mai. If you want some info on the Philippines, just drop me a line. Mary. travelingpants1@rogers.com
Thanks a bunch Mary! Sounds like you’re quite the traveler. I think it’s amazing that you’re so courageous as a 53 year old woman traveling the world solo. If you have any questions regarding Thailand feel free to contact me!
