BAAN KANTIANG SEE VILLAS
Baan Kantiang See Villas Resort in Koh Lanta, Thailand consists of eight luxury, two-bedroom, two-bath villas located high on the hillside overlooking the beautiful Kantiang Bay in the distance.
As soon as you walk through the door of your villa at Baan Kantiang See Villas, you are met with an overly spacious living room area equipped with amenities such as a computer, large flat panel television with satellite cable, a day bed, ceiling fan, a small kitchen table with comfortable floor seating, beautiful Thai paintings, wood carvings and more.
Above, you’ll see a photo of the comfy day bed that was located in the living room area of our villa. It was a great place to take a short nap after a long day of fun in the sun. Just ask our friends who stopped by to visit us and ended up falling asleep on it!
Where do we even begin when talking about this kitchen? If this doesn’t make you feel like home, then I’m not sure what will. We love having a place to cook in our accommodations when we travel.
Even if you don’t make full use of the kitchen during your stay, it’s still a great amenity to have in case you want to cook up a light breakfast or to prepare a nice healthy dinner after a long day at the beach.
Our kitchen was equipped with a microwave, toaster, refrigerator, and stove top. There was also plates, cups, cutlery and just about anything else you would find in your kitchen at home.
There are two bedrooms in each of the eight villas at Baan Kantiang See Villas. The only difference between the master bedroom and the secondary bedroom in the villa is that the master has an en suite bathroom.
The hand made Thai decorations and fixtures that decorate the villa make you really feel like you’re living in a traditional, yet luxurious Thai home.
One of the best features about both bedrooms at Baan Kantiang See Villas is the amount of natural light that shines through the floor to ceiling windows which separate the room from the outdoor terrace and views of Kantiang Bay in the distance.
The bathrooms very modern and spotless. They were stocked with fresh towels and soap on a daily basis.
Our favorite feature of both bathrooms was the half indoor/outdoor shower.
It’s not an easy task to find good water pressure in Thailand but Baan Kantiang See Villas had all of our water pressure needs covered with their massive rain shower heads.
Our favorite feature of the entire villa was the humongous terrace that wrapped around the entire rear side of the villa. Our terrace was equipped with two roll-away sun chairs, a bamboo hammock, a dining table with chairs, teak wood bench seats and so much more.
The views from Baan Kantiang See Villas simply can’t be beat. We watched countless sunrises and sunsets each morning and evening from the comforts of our amazing outdoor terrace.
Having a pool is one thing. Having an infinity pool that looks over Kantiang Bay is another. The pool at Baan Kantiang See Villas was one of the most amazing pools I’ve experienced while traveling.
We spent a few hours each day lounging pool side taking advantage of the views while we had them.

The staff at Baan Kantiang See Villas was top notch and the customer service was exceptional. The staff were friendly, helpful and always smiling at us each and every time we passed by the front office.
We thoroughly enjoyed our short, three day stay at Baan Kantiang See Villas Resort. From the villa, to the views, to the incredible pool, we loved just about everything about this place.
If there was one thing that we didn’t like about the villas, it was the long, steep hill that leads you up to the resort. While this is a small sacrifice for the incredible views of Kantiang Bay, it would definitely make for an extremely tough walk for those who are not in good shape, or those who are older and less active. Families with small children might find this to be an issue as well.
If you’re interested in an alternative way to conquer the hill, my recommendation is to rent a motorbike either in Saladan, or at any of the shops down on the main road in Kantiang Bay if you’re planning on spending time down on the beach, walking through town and dining at some of the best restaurants in Kantiang Bay. Trust me when I say that you won’t want to be hiking up and down this hill everyday!
