Mid-range establishments will be more in the range of $10 to $20 USD while more high end dining can be upwards of $50 USD or more.

7. How does tipping work in Egypt?
The tipping culture is very real in Egypt. The tourism industry in Egypt relies on tips and because of this PTM Tours sets aside a fixed amount of money each day for tips that cover our drivers, guides and a few others that should be tipped for their services.
In other words, tipping is not obligatory by any means and anything you decide to tip should be considered extra and is completely up to you. If you feel that a person was kind or helpful to you in one way or another, feel free to tip them.
Lastly, you’ll hear Egyptians using the word “baksheesh” just about everywhere you go from the streets to the temples and even in the most nonsensical places such as airport security lines. If someone approaches you asking for a tip and you don’t feel like they deserve it, simply say no and keep it moving. It’s as easy as that!
8. Will there be downtime on the tour?
Yes, of course! While the tour is quite action-packed from start to finish, there will also be some free time involved as well.
9. Do I need to pay a deposit to secure my spot on the tour?
